Michael Kilgore, Director of Bands
Mr. Kilgore is the Director of Bands and Fine Arts Department Chair for Lakeview Centennial High School. Prior to teaching at Lakeview, he taught as an assistant at Naaman Forest High School in the Garland ISD and as an assistant at Wylie High School in Wylie, TX. He is in his fourteenth year of teaching.
Mr. Kilgore grew up in Garland and is a 1991 graduate of Garland High School. After leaving his hometown, he graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. His primary instrument is percussion. Mr. Kilgore is a three time nominee to “Who’s Who in American Education”.
He is married to Melissa, his wonderful wife, who is also the best mommy in the world to their two adorable sons.

Holly Taylor, Assistant Band Director.
In 2007, Mrs. Taylor taught at Webb Middle School where she taught beginning classes and the Symphonic Band. She also taught the Color Guard at Naaman Forest High School. Prior to this, she instructed the Color Guards at Waxahachie, Midlothian, and Pampa High Schools.
Mrs. Taylor grew up in Pampa, Texas where she graduated from Pampa High School in 2001. She was a flute major from the University of Texas at Arlington who graduated in May of 2006.
She is married to Daniel Taylor who is a band director at Harrison Intermediate School in Wylie ISD.
Eric Petrinowitsch, Assistant Band Director
Mr. Petrinowitsch will be entering his first year at Lakeview Centennial High School. This will be his first full-time teaching job though he has been working with various high school marching programs as a private technician and percussion arranger. These programs include the Plano West Senior High Marching Band and the Miamisburg Marching Band near Dayton, Ohio.
Mr. Petrinowitsch grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from William Mason High School in 2005. He came down to the state of Texas to attend the prestigious College of Music at the University of North Texas and earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education in May of 2010. While at UNT he specialized in percussion and had the opportunity to study with many fantastic professors.
