Fundraising is a very important part of our band booster organization. Throughout the year, the band boosters provide multiple fundraising opportunities for both students and parents to participate in.  Most of the fundraisers are short term, lasting anywhere from 1 day up to 2 weeks in length. We do have a few that are ongoing all year long.

Are you in the market to buy or sell a home?? Do you know of friends or family that are??  Lucy Massey, one of our band booster parents, is a realtor and has graciously offered to donate $500 for each closing that she does when her clients mention the LCHS band. Goodsearch.com

Do you have a computer? Do you search the internet? If so, then you can make us some money!! Goodsearch is an internet search engine that pays us $0.01 for each search that we do. Go to www.goodsearch.com, in the “enter your charity here” field, enter Lakeview, select Verify, and choose Lakeview Centennial Band Boosters from the list….and start searching!!  If you shop online, then Goodsearch is your place to be!! Goodsearch has partnered with over 500 retail stores to donate a percentage of your online sales back to our general band booster account. Stores such as Best Buy, Old Navy, Kohls, Ebay, ITunes, Target, Amazon.com and Walmart are just a few examples of big name retailers they have participating in this program.

Kroger and Albertson’s Grocery Card

Everyone shops for groceries, so why not earn the band money while you shop! Kroger and Albertson’s have a unique program in which they will donate back to the band 1% of all sales made by band supporters throughout the year. All you have to do is scan your Kroger Reward Card/Albertson’s Community Card at the check out counters. This is an easy way for your friends and family to help support the band as well. There is no cost to you to participate in either of these programs. Please contact Tim or Kelly Mallams to obtain sign up materials for both programs.

Patriot Band Night at Local Restaurants

During football season, after each Friday night game that is played locally, the band students and parents are invited to get together at CiCi’s Pizza. They are located in the Bass Pro shopping center in Garland. CiCi’s donates a portion of the sales generated that night back to the Band Boosters.
